Medano Pass Road

I took the back roads to Colorado Springs, following the Medano Pass Primitive Road from Great Sand Dunes National Park to Westcliffe, CO. The route was not particularly difficult--I never even used the truck's low range gears or locked the center diff--but was very scenic. It took me through deep sand, alpine meadows, a couple of 3' deep water crossings, and a rocky climb up to the pass at 10,300'.
